Dear judges, guests, and friends,
I am Yao Ming, very honored to stand here and share my basketball career with you. Today, my topic is "The Power of Perseverance."
As a professional basketball player, I deeply understand the importance of perseverance. Whether on or off the court, I always maintain a positive attitude and never give up in the face of challenges. It is precisely this perseverance that has enabled me to grow from an ordinary basketball boy into an internationally renowned basketball superstar.
Throughout my basketball career, I have encountered countless setbacks and difficulties. Every time I wanted to give up, I would recall my childhood experiences, my parents' encouragement and support, and the expectations and trust placed in me by my coach and teammates. It was these motivations that kept me afloat and kept me going.
Besides individual efforts, perseverance also comes from the strength of teamwork. On the court, we are one unit, and each person's performance affects the entire team.
