My hometown is a place that holds a special place in my heart. Before I went to middle school, I lived with my grandparents there, experiencing a way of life that is fast disappearing in the hustle and bustle of modern life. The environment is immaculate, with trees lining the periphery and water so clean that one can see fish swimming freely within. Occasionally, I would go boating with friends on the small river, or enjoy the serenade of birds chirping in the mountainsides.
Traditional festivals are celebrated with great fervor, with the village preparing colorful shows and sometimes a huge parade. Children join in the fun, adding to the festive atmosphere. The hometown I love so dearly, no matter where I go, remains ever present in my thoughts.
The town lies in the eastern part of Zhejiang province, near the East Sea, and has a population of fifty thousand. It is situated in the south of the county, with flat land to the south and mountains on the west. A river runs from north to south in the west of town, providing a picturesque backdrop to its peaceful existence. The weather here is mild, with winters not too cold and summers not too hot, making it an ideal habitat for a diverse marine life, enjoyed by the fishermen of the town。
