Once upon a time, there was a little cat named Tom. Tom loved to play outside, but he was afraid of water. One day, Tom saw some friends playing in the river and he wanted to join them. He walked right up to the edge of the water and tried to jump in, but he couldn't. He felt scared and sad.
一天，有一隻小貓名叫Tom，他喜歡在外面玩，但是他很怕水。一天，Tom看到一些朋友在河裡玩，他也想加入他們。他走到水邊試著跳進去，但是他做不到，他感到害怕和悲哀。
His friends saw how upset Tom was and they decided to help him learn how to swim. They taught him the strokes and showed him how to float on his back. Tom practiced and practiced and finally he could swim like the rest of them. He felt so proud of himself and happy to be able to join in the fun.
