A Summer Day, the Little Turtle felt憋得慌 and wanted to learn how to swim.
It tried to learn from the Ducks first. The Ducks said,“When you paddle, use your flippers carefully and don't be in a hurry.” After learning from the Ducks for a few days, he couldn't swim properly and shed tears by himself.
Then he tried to learn from the Fish. The Fish said,“When you swim, keep your head low and lift your arms before lifting your head.” After learning from the Fish for a few more days, he still couldn't swim properly and shed tears by himself.
At this time, an old Turtle advised him,“You shouldn't be in a hurry, my child. You are naturally timid and slow. You should first seek stability before seeking progress.” The Little Turtle listened to the advice of the old Turtle, reflected on his own characteristics, and found that he was not suitable for the fast and agile swimming movements. He worked out a new swimming method that emphasized stability, and soon learned how to swim.
This story tells us that: Everyone has their own strengths and characteristics. When we encounter difficulties, we shouldn't be anxious to succeed. We should be able to discover our own strengths and weaknesses. We should find a solution to the problem according to our own characteristics. Only in this way can we better leverage our strengths and achieve success.
