Last week at my school, we held a charity sale on the school playground. The event took place on Saturday morning. We had prepared a variety of items to sell, including handmade kites and model planes, as well as old toys and second-hand books. At 8:30 am, the charity sale began, and both students and teachers flocked to the event. People could choose their favorite items and pay for them at a reduced price. By the end of the day, we had raised over 2,000 yuan, which we donated to the community to support children who couldn't afford to go to school and seniors in need of better care. It was a memorable experience, and I am proud of what we accomplished. If everyone contributes to charity, our world will become a better place。
