今年寒假，我看了一本英文小故事書，這本書叫《穿靴子的貓》，是由（法）Perrault,c.著，（紐西蘭）JoySharp等改寫的。這是一篇外國童話故事，內容講的是：一隻聰明的貓幫它的主人娶到了美麗的公主的故事。
看完這本故事書後，我覺得這隻貓真聰明啊！比如，這隻貓經常用卡拉巴司侯爵的名義，向國王送去各種禮物，讓國王非常高興，對卡拉巴司侯爵印象非常好，就想當面見卡拉巴司侯爵；為了讓主人有新衣服穿，它讓主人跳進河裡洗澡，然後把舊衣服藏起來，並對國王說衣服被小偷偷走了，國王就送給它主人新衣服穿；為了讓主人有個城堡，這隻貓跑到妖怪城堡前面並先請妖怪變成一隻獅子，然後趁妖怪得意的時候請妖怪變成一隻老鼠，並馬上撲上去一口咬死了變成老鼠的妖怪，於是獲得了漂亮的城堡。
通過這個童話故事，我明白了一隻聰明的貓比大的磨房和大的驢子強多了，小小的貓通過思考想出各種好辦法乾成了大事，我要向這隻愛思考的貓學習，遇到事情時要多多思考，想出各種辦法來解決問題。
英文小故事讀後感（二）《伊索寓言》讀後感
若書的世界是一片海洋，那我便是這片海洋中的一條小魚，任憑我在書海中自由自在地遨遊。有一天，我發現了一顆閃著璀璨琳琅般光澤的珍珠，這顆珍珠便是《伊索寓言》！
我上上下下「打量」完這顆「珍珠」時，又發現了這「珍珠的一大特點——講述著一個個動人的故事，故事中還包含著種種深刻的道理。我找到了一篇《說謊的猴子》，故事是這樣的：一個愛說謊的猴子上船去雅典，可船在路上遭到了暴風雨的襲擊，翻了船。有一條海豚十分喜歡與人類交談，從而獲取知識。海豚把猴子當作人類托上水面，並與猴子交談，交談中猴子又在說謊，被海豚揭穿後海豚憤憤不平，便把猴子弄下海，淹死了。這則寓言要告訴我們，做人，千萬不能說謊，說謊的人也會因此而受到報應！所以我們要做一個誠實的人，這樣，才能使其融入到大家、民眾的生活中去；這樣，才不會被世人鄙視！俗話說得好：「誠實是通往知識大門的金鑰匙。」所以，誠實待人，等於尊重別人！
